Frugal Family Food’s 31 Days of Summertime Treats marches on with Peach Week! This week, most of our recipes will feature peaches since they are in season and can generally be found at great prices.
Today I am sharing a delicious and adorable treat: Individual Strawberry Peach Trifles. Is there anything cuter than a dessert in a mason jar? This recipe is easy to personalize, is portable, and can be made into one serving or many servings.
Individual Strawberry Peach Trifle
- 3 Large Strawberries (chopped)
- 1 Large Peach (peeled, pitted, and chopped)
- 8 oz Whipped Topping
- 1 pkg Instant Vanilla Pudding (prepared according to package directions)
- 1/2 Pound Cake (sliced into 1 inch thick slices, and cut into 1 inch cubes)
Spoon a spoonful of pudding into the bottoms of your wide mouth, pint size mason jar.
Alternate layers as such:
Cake (single layer)
Spoonful of pudding
Fruit (single layer)
Spoonful of whipped topping
End your trifle by topping with whipped topping and fruit
*Hint: If you plan to make your trifles travel friendly, be sure to leave head space to add the lid.
This could easily be packed to take to the pool or a picnic. Best part is that you can totally make this your own by changing up the flavors!
